Grades Information:

  • Each assignment will be worth a specified number of points. Points earned out of that total will be recorded.
  • The total points earned out of the total points possible will determine the student's average. For example, if an assignment is worth 20 points, and the student earns 15, that is the same as 75% which is a C.
  • All students will receive progress reports according to the school calendar.
  • A grade of 0 reflects an absence; the work needs to be made up promptly.
  • A grade of 1 indicates the student was present but did not turn in the
work; the work needs to be made up promptly, but the grade will be reduced.
  • Grades are recorded as promptly as possible.
  • If you see an error on STI, please have the student show me the paper in question, and I will make the correction.
  • AR grades are posted beginning at progress report time, but they will continue to be updated until the final date due for AR.
  • Parent phone calls, email, or conferences regarding grades (or other concerns) are welcome.
